Abstract

Enterprise adoption of multi-agent systems is held back less by model quality than by coordination, failure handling and visibility into what agents are doing. We propose a layered architecture that separates planning, execution and supervision, with explicit contracts between agents.

A case study across three enterprise workflows shows lower task failure rates and faster incident diagnosis compared with a monolithic agent baseline.

Key Highlights

  • Layered Design

    Planning, execution and supervision separated

  • Reliability

Explicit contracts and retries between agents

  • Observability

Traceable agent decisions end to end
